One of my amazing besties in NYC, (you know who you are) , gave me a Sephora e-gift card for Christmas. I didn't read it properly when I got the email so I found out I could only use it online when I got to the store. I figured I'd save my bigger purchases for online shopping because shipping is always free w/all orders over $50 & the samples are always amazing. Plus, I always find more coupons online to add items, so I had a nice list ready. I placed my order on 12/29/11 & just got it today.
Between the in-store visit & online order, this is what I got:
*Narciso Rodriguez, For Her ($95 for 3.3oz)
My NR Family <3
From L to R:
Original bottle that came w/Pink Crystals, New Bottle, Hair Mist, Body Lotion, Oil (also part of original set), deluxe sample, Mini Lotion, Travel/Refillable Bottle & Candle
I ordered a big refill of probably my favorite perfume, Ever!
I have a lot of perfume so I rarely run out because I change it up so much but this was gone the fastest than any I've ever had.
It's the eau de toilette which is supposed to be less concentrated than the eau de parfum, but I had it & liked this way better.
This has become my signature scent!! It's divine! The set I got originally came all bedazzled w/pink crystals & came w/the big bottle, hair mist, body lotion, roll on oil, mini lotion & refillable travel bottle & candle (which is the best thing I've ever smelled in my life) all for $95 plus tax! Thanks Sandra @ Bloomingdale's 59th st!!! Xo
Now for the makeup!
*Smashbox, Blush/Soft Light Duo in AM/PM (natural peachy pink/luminous golden beige)
These were marked down to $7 from the usual $30, so naturally I had to get 3)
When I just opened this I was not at all prepared for how pretty they are! This picture does not do it justice. I only got 3 because I knew they'd be good quality b/c Smashbox is amazing but I wasn't sure about the color. It looked boring, but it's not at all! It's gorgeous! I put it on right away & it really hugs the contours of my cheeks. It's such a nice duo. The finish is flawless, I can only imagine how beautiful this will look photographed! I went to order more & of course it's out of stock! People think I'm crazy buying so much of the same thing but this is why I shop like this. The second I love it, it's likely to go out of stock. But when the price is right....C'est la vie!
*LipFusion Micro-Collagen Lip Plump (Objects of Desire collection), Show Off
This was $7.25 marked down from $29. Even though I know & love their lip plumpers, I didn't feel the need to stock up & just ordered 1. I love the design down the sides w/the flowers, it's so feminine! I opened it to find it's a pretty light purpley pink w/hints of golden shimmer. It's consistency is the same as the others from this brand. If you're a LipFusion fan, you'll love it. However, I noticed these are out of stock now too...Just saying.
*Sephora Collection Blush Me! Trio, Brun 12
This was $5 marked down from $15.
I love, love, love these trios! I have all of them. The shades I have are called abricot, rose & now brun (pictured above). They are so pretty & good for a complete eye look or highlighting. I use these often one way or another. They remind me of a similar product they had called Highlighting Bronzing Powder, or the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick. Same concept. I may not be a huge fan of multi-functioning skin products but in makeup it's good!
*Urban Decay, Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color, Adrenaline
This is a fairly new product so it was full price at $19.
I, for no reason at all, don't have a whole lot of UD makeup. I do like their famous primer potion & will use it but as far as the rest of their stuff, I can't say I have that much. Some shadows & glosses at most. I went to a NYE 70's theme party & I channeled Studio 54's disco chic. This was perfect!! I lined my lips w/a purple gloss from MAC & filled in w/this. It lasted for hours & was so moisturizing, never caking or fading. It's glossy looking but also a crayon so it's easy to use. I'm definitely getting more of these!
*Sephora Collection Cream Eyeshadow Set
These box sets were $11 on sale from $22 discounted from the original $40 so I got 2 boxes! One for myself & one to keep in my goody bag stash because they're small, like mini mascaras. I have a lot of cream shadows & base products but the price was too good. They're really nice! You can apply light or heavy as a base under shadow or alone either way. I love the versatility of these little guys! I love the color selection, as they're all colors I wear all the time. They're good staples to have b/c they go w/everything!
I used the purple (last on left) & the champagne pinky/beige (second from right) as a base for my NYE disco makeup look as well. My makeup didn't move all night but when I removed it, it came off w/out a lot of fuss.
They don't sell them online, just in stores. I asked & they're supposed to be in stores for good soon.
*tokidoki iPhone Case
This was on sale for $10 from $35. I got it b/c my phone cover was not staying on my phone & I like tokidoki :-)
I also got my boscia mask on this haul but I just wrote about it (last post).
I'm in the midst of trying some amazing skin samples I got from this mini haul & also some MAC glosses that I fell in love with from the winter collection, so I'll talk about that all soon!
Keep it Prettie!
